House 1:14 To create an atmosphere at House 1:14 where kids grades 6-12 can experience a God-centered environment after school while they wait.

House 1:14 is open in Monroe, Indiana as a safe place for middle school & high school students from Adams Central Schools to come after school. We provide food, adult supervision and interaction. The house is run on donations and the students attend free of charge. Vision ~ To create a home with an atmosphere where our young people can experience a God-centered environment after school, while they

wait.

~House 1:14 is a place where kids can experience a feeling of security, thus helping meet their emotional needs
~House 1:14 is a place where kids can receive positive mentoring from adults, thus helping meet their spiritual needs

🎉Cookies! Fresh baked cookies!! 🎉Can I just tell you how much we love your support! It doesn’t take much to know that teens LOVE cookies! Do you or have a church small group, a Bible study group, a just a group of friends who enjoy baking? Cookies are expensive to buy and we buy them weekly! Love love love this donation of time and effort from this last weekend who has graciously made these cookies for us! Now you should know these will last us 3 weeks if we ration a bag a day! If you saw yesterday’s post you know we had 70+ visit!!! And if you know your kids, one is hardly enough! On other cookie news
shout out to Ashlee who often brings dough and bakes the afternoon away!! Or if you just feel like baking, I’ve got ingredients to share! Thank you again for the support and the cookies! It means the world to us! I can’t keep up with all the posts i could make these days! 🏡đŸȘ💕

We have many passersby-ers and often wonder do they know?! So we asked for a sign and when it was gifted and arrived we started sitting it out for all to see! Still wanting to offer something to everyone, we starting sitting out water for those who still pass by! Did you know we have an Amazon wish list and a grocery list (because Walmart groceries are cheaper)?? Did you know you could drop of a case of water? Did you know that you could donate online? One of my favorite 2 hours of the year! When a crew of 30 ish willing young people show up to spruce things up for us! This year was no different! Fast a furious they cleaned out flower beds again, cleaned out the garage, painted the picnic table, stained the wheel chair ramp that got used for it’s intended purpose, power washed the filthy porch, washed down so much woodwork and chairs, cleaned the oven, microwave, and refrigerator, changed smoke alarm batteries, organized games, washed and stocked shelves, knocked down spider webs, junked some rough chairs, tried to make sense of a box of donated video game stuff, planted mums, tidied, and even tried to fix my printer! I tried to take some pictures but mostly failed. Caught up with the outside crew taking refuge from the rain on the now clean porch! So much to be thankful for! God is good!
