💙💛 How Does the Rotary Club of Monroe Make a Difference?

You may know us from community events like the Monroe Holiday Tree Walk, but there's a lot more to Rotary than you might realize!

The Rotary Club of Monroe has been part of this community since May 5, 1924. That's over 100 years of neighbors, friends, and local professionals coming together to lend a hand wherever it's needed.

Over the years, our members have worked on projects that support local families, help those experiencing homelessness, encourage literacy, and improve our community. Our efforts also reach well beyond Monroe through international service projects and student exchange programs.

As part of Rotary International, we focus on seven important areas, from education and healthcare to clean water, protecting the environment, and supporting local economies.

And while the projects may be different, the reason behind them is always the same: We care about our community, and we want to make a difference.

Our motto, Service Above Self, has guided us for more than a century, and it's something our members continue to put into practice every day.

We're proud to call Monroe home, and we're grateful for the opportunity to serve our neighbors, both here and around the world.

💙 Here's to the next 100 years of making a difference!
