Home Inc. Monroe Elm House's Mission: To help adults with developmental disabilities, mental illness and TBI achieve their potential.

We provide an active, well organized and supportive environment where men and women can grow and mature. We offer training for independent living, Supportive independence and HUD Section Housing Subsidy.

It's been a busy winter/spring here at Elm House. We updated our heating system, repaved the parking lot and had other minor repairs made. It wasn't all work, of course we found some time to have fun. A generous donor gave us tickets to a few of the concerts at the Lay-Z- Boy center at MCCC. The residents danced and sang along and are looking forward to the next one. We celebrated the holidays and of course had birthday bingo each month to celebrate our residents. A big thank you to Dick and Pat Sager for hosting birthday bingo. We greatly appreciate the hard work and dedication of our staff.

We would like to thank LouAnn for a generous donation that allowed us to take the residents to the theater. The residents enjoyed a cold beverage, popcorn and of course a blockbuster movie. The residents were also treated to lunch after the movie thanks to a donation from another donor. We appreciate and are thankful for the support of the community.
