Union County Spreads Christmas Cheer To Kids In Need!

Thank you, Union County! Because of the incredible generosity of our community, this year’s Holiday Heroes initiative was a huge success. Your donations will help ensure that children right here in Union County experience the joy and magic of Christmas, and we are truly grateful for your support.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the UCSO Foundation, Inc. for their financial contributions that helped us shop for even more gifts for local kids in need.

In addition, we are grateful for the strong community partnerships that make efforts like this possible. Thank you to Hemby Bridge Fire Department, Bakers Fire Department, Stallings Fire Department, and the Town of Indian Trail, NC - Government for serving as donation locations and supporting this mission every step of the way.

Together, we continue to prove what makes Union County so special — neighbors helping neighbors and a community that cares. Merry Christmas from all of us at the Union County Sheriff’s Office!

Recent Golf Tournament Raises Over $16,000.00 for UCSO Foundation

Last week, the UCSO Foundation hosted our annual golf tournament fundraiser at Stonebridge Country Club. Over 25 teams of top-tier athletes from around the state came together and enjoyed a round of golf, some even managing to keep their golf balls on the correct fairway, all while supporting our foundation’s mission.

This UCSO Foundation helps fund items within the county such as the Senior luncheon, Trunk or treat, and a variety of other special events. This successful fundraiser would not have been possible without all the support we received from all the local businesses and organizations listed below who sponsored the event.

We would like to especially thank all our event organizers and volunteers who worked hard during the tournament to ensure its success.
