WE WANTED TO SHARE SOME INFORMATION REGARDING THE TWO YOUNG MAN REPORTED MISSING. IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT THE ARE MISSING FROM STATE CUSTODY. AND WAS LAST SEEN WITH THEIR FATHER, THE STATE TOOK THE BOYS BUT THE DAD IS CURRENTLY HIDING THEM AND A WARRANT HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR HIS ARREST FOR HARBORING THEM FROM THE STATE.

HIDE YAH KIDS! SPANISH LAKE MAN CHARGED AFTER ATTEMPTING TO MEET UP WITH UNDERAGE DECOY! 😳🚨

WELP, another one has found himself behind bars after reportedly traveling to Alton, Illinois, to meet up with someone he believed was an underage child!

Leron C. Williams, 50, of the Spanish Lake area, is now facing FIVE felony charges in Madison County following an online predator sting involving Online Predator Intervention.

According to the organization, Williams showed up to the meeting location with a loaded fi***rm. Authorities also reportedly discovered a controlled substance.

Williams has been charged with armed violence, traveling to meet a minor, indecent solicitation/aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child, grooming, and possession of a controlled substance.

And get this! According to Online Predator Intervention, this is the SECOND recent case involving a man reportedly showing up armed to meet someone he believed was a child.

Williams is scheduled to appear before a judge for a hearing regarding the state’s request to deny his pretrial release.

Now, one thing about these online predator sting operations, they are definitely keeping law enforcement busy! 😳

All charges are accusations, and Williams is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

Leron was charged in Madison County with 5 different felonies and has a hearing today at 1:30pm where a judge will hear the state's petition to deny Leron's Pretrial Release. Leron was charged with:

Ct. I: 720 ILCS 5/33A-2(a) - Armed Violence/Category I (Class X)
Ct. II: 720 ILCS 5/11-26(a) - Traveling to Meet a Minor (Class 3)
Ct. III: 720 ILCS 5/11-6(a) - Indecent Solicitation/Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse of a Child (Class 3)
Ct. IV: 720 ILCS 5/11-25(a) - Grooming (Class 4)
Ct. V: 720 570/402(c) - Possession of Controlled Substance (Class 4)

Very concerning that these past two men, Brandon R. Ramsey and Leron C. Williams have decided to show up with loaded fi***rms to meet with what they believed to be a child. We are thankful that Alton Police Department and Washington County Sheriff's Office were there to respond on both occasions and that Brandon and Leron are in custody where they belong.

St. Louis Man Facing Felony Charges Following Alton Sting:

A 50-year-old St. Louis man, Leron Williams, was arrested in Upper Alton after traveling to meet what he believed was a minor. Police recovered a gun and controlled substances at the scene. Williams faces charges including Armed Violence, Grooming, and Traveling To Meet A Minor!
