A reminder: while sometimes called "voodoo dolls", "poppets" have an attested history in European magical traditions. You don't need to bother your neighbors who find spiritual value in a closed, African-diaspora tradition to use a poppet. Cheers. 🍻

An owner of an Indiana metaphysical shop was attacked. There are a lot of cruel events in our world, but I find the tragedy of a soul—misunderstanding the lesson of it's practice—to be especially so. The language of spiritual warfare can lead some to justify physical warfare; but they forget that "choosing" only follows from being given the opportunity of choice. Taking away the choice "loses the battle" before its begun.

If you have the chance, remind your neighbors that there is nothing in this path stopping you from walking another path; only that you might first ask why you would want to walk any other path.

Fort Wayne metaphysical shop owner was assaulted in his store after being accused of Witchcraft. The assailant shouted “Kill all the witches,” and left the show owner with injuries, The attack raises renewed concerns about hate-motivated violence against the Pagan community.
