We are beyond excited to announce that Mental Health Therapy is now available to our Freedom Recovery family through Mercy & Grace Ministries. 💙

At Freedom Recovery Ministries, we believe healing is more than just overcoming addiction or hard seasons it’s about restoring hearts, renewing minds, and finding hope again through Christ. Sometimes the journey requires extra support, and we are thankful to now offer access to mental health therapy from someone who truly understands the road because they’ve walked through struggles too.

No matter what you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, domestic violence, or just feeling overwhelmed by life please know this: you are NOT alone. There is hope. There is healing. There is freedom.

We are committed to creating a safe, faith-based, judgment-free community where people can heal together, grow together, and walk in freedom together.

If you have questions or are interested in learning more, please reach out to one of our leaders after group or send us a private message. We are here for you.

💚 June is PTSD Awareness Month 💚

Not all wounds are visible.

PTSD affects millions of people, including survivors of trauma, domestic violence, addiction, military service, first responders, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, healthcare workers, and many others. While the scars may not be seen on the outside, the battles being fought on the inside are very real.

At Freedom Recovery Ministries, we want you to know that you are not alone. Healing is possible, and there is hope. Whether you’re struggling with flashbacks, anxiety, grief, depression, nightmares, or the weight of traumatic experiences, there is a place for you here.

We are honored to offer a First Responders Support Group for firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement officers, military members, dispatchers, healthcare workers, and others who are dealing with the effects of trauma and PTSD. This group provides a safe, confidential, faith-based environment where you can connect with others who truly understand.

In a world that constantly demands your attention, set aside just one hour each day for God. Read His Word, pray, worship, or simply sit in His presence. If you don’t have a physical Bible, download a Bible app on your phone and start today. Healing begins with God. Freedom begins with surrender. One hour can change your day, your mindset, and your life.

Tonight was a wonderful evening at Freedom Recovery Ministries!

Before our groups began, we had the opportunity to gather around the table, enjoy a delicious meal, and spend time in fellowship with one another. A special thank you to our brothers and sisters from First Baptist Church of Mocksville for providing tonight’s meal. Your generosity, kindness, and servant hearts were truly a blessing to everyone who attended.

One of the beautiful things about recovery is realizing that healing happens not only through the work God does in our hearts, but also through the love and support of a caring community. Sharing a meal together reminds us that none of us are meant to walk this journey alone.

Thank you, First Baptist Church of Mocksville, for investing in our ministry and loving on our Freedom Recovery family. We are grateful for your partnership and your willingness to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

Addiction doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t care about age, gender, income, education, or where you come from. It affects families, friendships, careers, and lives.

But there is hope.

Recovery is possible. Every day, people are breaking free from addiction, rebuilding relationships, finding purpose, and discovering the life God intended for them. The journey isn’t always easy, but no one has to walk it alone.

At Freedom Recovery Ministries, we believe that your past does not define your future. Through faith, fellowship, support, and God’s grace, healing can begin one step at a time.

If you are struggling with addiction, know this: you are not a failure, you are not beyond help, and you are not alone.

Today can be the day you take the first step toward freedom.

“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” – John 8:36

Join us Monday evenings for a free meal starting at 5:30, fellowship, and recovery groups start at 6pm. No judgment. No shame. Just people helping people find hope and healing through Christ.

💜 World Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Day 💜

Today, we stand with every survivor who has been silenced, gaslit, manipulated, discarded, and made to question their own reality.

Narcissistic abuse leaves wounds that cannot always be seen, but they are real. Healing is possible. Recovery is possible. Your voice matters. Your story matters.

If you are on your healing journey, know this: what happened to you was not your fault, and you are not alone.

Today we raise awareness, break the silence, and support survivors around the world.

💜 Healing is possible.
🦋 Peace is possible.
💜 Freedom is possible.

No matter what your story looks like, God can turn your pain into purpose. At Freedom Recovery Group, we believe your past does not define you your healing does. The struggles, heartbreak, addiction, trauma, grief, and battles you’ve overcome may be the very thing that helps someone else keep going.

You don’t have to pretend you’ve never been broken. This is a place where messy is welcome, healing is possible, and grace is freely given. Your testimony matters. Your voice matters. And your story could become someone else’s hope.

Come join our faith-based, judgment-free community where recovery and restoration happen together.
