Our screen-free classrooms feature a secured entryway, special guest readers, and subsidy assistance programs. Look at all that VERTICAL painting! 🖼️

This is a messy art experience that is FUN, creative and engaging.

This experience provides opportunities to cross the mid line, practice hand eye coordination, practice gross motor control by ‘forcing’ the child to use their WHOLE arm from the fingertips to the shoulder!

But there’s MORE - this experience also provides opportunities for the child to build their core strength, practice good posture and practice balancing!

And look - absolutely NO SCREENS - just paint, paintbrushes (hands and fingers too) and TIME to explore!

PreK is outside enjoying fresh air, sunshine and some risky play because trying new things, testing theories/ideas and boundaries is exhilarating.

Doing dangerous things carefully builds emotional resilience, self confidence, the ability to self assess their own risk management skills - THIS builds healthy, strong, capable children - physically and MENTALLY! 😊

No worksheets!
No sitting in chairs for CRAP-tivities!

Just PLAY!

But look closer and you will see:

*emotional regulation
*emotional intelligence
*cooperation
*turn taking
*language development
*conversation - communication - face to face interactions with other humans
*problem solving
*hand eye coordination
*fine motor practice
*gross motor (whole body)
*creativity
*imagination
*curiosity
*cause and effect
*laughter
*JOY

In order to protect children we must PROTECT their CHILDHOOD - the joy, the innocence and the wonder of every day is a new and exciting opportunity to explore.

PLAY matters because PLAY works.

Children learn best through PLAY and we all know that - so why do so many - schools, centers etc do the exact opposite?!

PreK Graduation was a HUGE success. We are grateful to be able to come together and celebrate these wonderful children as a school family!

Thank you to Pastor Vic, Pastor Shirley and Pastor Hannah and Family Life Fellowship for allowing us to use their beautiful facilities for the last 6 years. What an amazing blessing they are!

Thank you to all the teachers and staff at Community Childcare Learning Center for everything you do to provide a safe, loving environment for children to grow and thrive in.

Thank you to our board and especially retiring member Karen Berding for your years of support and dedication to early childhood. We appreciate having a group of individuals who are proactive and supportive of protecting childhood!

Thank you to Miss Nann and Miss Angie for keeping the lights on - it’s no small task and we appreciate ALL you do!

Join us for a fun-filled Community Baby Shower & Bike Rodeo on Saturday, June 6th from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Randolph County Health Department (1319 US Hwy 24 in Moberly, MO)! 🚲🍼

We’re excited to bring families together for a day full of resources, activities, and fun for all ages!

👶 Community Baby Shower
For expecting families and those with infants under 3 months old.
Families can receive FREE infant supplies, diapers, prenatal & postpartum resources, activities, and more!

🚴 Bike Rodeo
Kids can enjoy a fun obstacle course while learning bike safety and the rules of the road. Be sure to bring your bikes, trikes, scooters, and wheelchairs! Extra bikes will be available on a first-come basis.
