The Suburban Houston - Fort Bend Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University, the Sorority is currently a sisterhood o

f more than 200,000 predominately Black college educated women. This includes over 900 chapters located in the United States, England, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the Republic of Korea. The major programs of the sorority are based upon the organization's Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Physical and Mental Health, Educational Development, Political Awareness and Involvement, and International Awareness and Involvement. Join the Suburban Houston–Fort Bend Alumnae Chapter for our September Chapter Meeting on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Come early and connect with Sorors during Delta Cafe beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by Chapter Meeting at 10:00 AM.

We look forward to another meaningful morning of sisterhood, service, fellowship, and moving the work of our chapter forward together.

We invite parents of boys to apply for our impactful youth initiative, which is designed to encourage personal growth, leadership, academic success, and positive development.

Sorors were DEFINITELY in the house! ❤️🔺 Our Friday Night Experience kicked off the 2026 Chapter Retreat with sisterhood, laughter, connection, and plenty of Delta energy!

There’s nothing like coming together, reconnecting, and setting the tone for a weekend focused on purpose, growth, and sisterhood. And from the very beginning, SHFBAC showed up and showed out! ✨

What a powerful weekend of connection, reflection, sisterhood, and renewed purpose as the Suburban Houston–Fort Bend Alumnae Chapter gathered for our 2026 Chapter Retreat!

Grounded in our biennium theme, “As We Believe, So We Become…The Journey Continues,” we were reminded that what we believe shapes how we lead, how we serve, and ultimately, who we become.

Through our retreat focus — BEE: Build • Engage • Empower — we strengthened relationships, deepened our commitment to one another, and recommitted ourselves to the important work ahead.
