What a beautiful and inspiring day!

United Women in Faith – Covenant Glen would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, and prayed for the success of our 15th Annual Mother-Daughter Tea & Fashion Show. Your presence made today truly special and filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful connection.

We are especially grateful to our wonderful guest speaker, Loretta Williams Gurnell , for sharing such an inspiring and heartfelt message that perfectly reflected our theme, “Dreams of More.” Your words encouraged mothers, daughters, and families to nurture faith, pursue purpose, and believe in the dreams God has placed in our hearts.

Thank you to our volunteers, planning team, donors, models, participants, and Covenant Glen UMC family who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event memorable. Because of you, this tradition continues to uplift and inspire the next generation.

We look forward to seeing you again next year as we continue to dream, grow, and support one another. 💕

2026 Mother-Daughter Tea

United Women in Faith – Covenant Glen invites you to a beautiful afternoon of fellowship, inspiration, and celebration across generations!

Join us for our Mother-Daughter Tea as we reflect on this year’s theme, “Dreams of More” (1 Kings 3:5)—a reminder that God places dreams in our hearts for a purpose and calls us to nurture the hopes of the next generation.

History-maker Bishop Tracy Smith Malone is the first Black woman to serve as President of the Council of Bishops of the United Methodist Church. She is writing Black History right before our eyes.
At Assembly 2026, witness how she is paving the way for future generations.

Leadership is a sacred calling, and Bishop Tracy Smith Malone is a history-maker. As the first Black woman to serve as President of the Council of Bishops of the UMC, she is writing Black History right before our very eyes. She is also honoring the past while safeguarding history that some are working to erase.

She leads with Strength rooted in Faith and a vision for Real Change, showing that preserving truth is bouth courage and legacy. At Assembly 2026, witness how she is paving the way for Future Generations.

United Women in Faith-CG: Day of Service 2026!

Join us for our first Day of Service in 2026 on Saturday, January 31st, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Second Mile Mission Center (1135 Hwy 90A, Missouri City, TX 77489).

We'll be serving our community by:

Sorting grocery deliveries from the Houston Food Bank
Placing food items in grocery carts for distribution
Sorting, folding, or hanging clothes for their resale store
