The 40th Year Hearts and Hands Holiday Market
October 19–21, 2026
The 40th annual Hearts and Hands Holiday Market takes place at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. This special milestone brings the event full circle. Over forty years ago, Jean Cragg and fellow members of Memorial Drive United Women in Faith envisioned a fall market to raise funds for local ministries supporting women and children. Jean secured the enthusiastic backing of her husband, then Senior Minister, Dr. Eugene Cragg, to launch the tradition. Today, her daughter-in-law, Beverly Cragg, and granddaughter, Kelly Cragg Vicente, honor that legacy by stepping up as the 2026 Co-Chairwomen.
What began as a small craft event in the church gym has grown into a major Houston tradition. Over the decades, the market expanded to include a Monday evening Preview Party, a Silent Auction, and a Bake Sale. Mission Stitchers, a group of dedicated ladies, handcraft specialties from collegiate gifts to unique quilts made specifically for the event.
These women are thrilled to celebrate 40 years of history, with many more to come. They extend their deepest gratitude to the vendors, sponsors, shoppers, and over 200 volunteers who have made this yearly market a resounding success and a wonderful fall tradition.
Event Schedule:
• Monday, Oct 19: Preview Party (5:30 PM–8 PM)
• Tuesday, Oct 20: Open Shopping (10 AM–7 PM)
• Wednesday, Oct 21: Open Shopping (10 AM–3 PM)

What a beautiful and inspiring day!

United Women in Faith – Covenant Glen would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, and prayed for the success of our 15th Annual Mother-Daughter Tea & Fashion Show. Your presence made today truly special and filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful connection.

We are especially grateful to our wonderful guest speaker, Loretta Williams Gurnell , for sharing such an inspiring and heartfelt message that perfectly reflected our theme, “Dreams of More.” Your words encouraged mothers, daughters, and families to nurture faith, pursue purpose, and believe in the dreams God has placed in our hearts.

Thank you to our volunteers, planning team, donors, models, participants, and Covenant Glen UMC family who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event memorable. Because of you, this tradition continues to uplift and inspire the next generation.

We look forward to seeing you again next year as we continue to dream, grow, and support one another. 💕
