💜 Women-Owned Business Spotlight: High Street Sweets

💙 Favorite Community Event: It’s a tie between Candlelight Shopping and the 4th of July. Both events really bring out the Hallmark movie quality of Mineral Point.

🛎 Favorite Product/Service: I like the mystery bags because they’re fun and popular with the kids. The most tempting item for me is the local Amish chocolate covered cashew crunch. We often have that available for free samples so I can justify opening a container for myself. I also like the small individual pieces of candy. There aren’t many places where you can buy a single butterscotch or a Jolly Rancher.

HAPPY 7 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TODAY, Ann!🙌

💜 Women-Owned Business Spotlight: Ann McDonald - State Farm Agent

💙 Favorite Community Event: We absolutely love the 4th of July parade. It’s so fun seeing the sidewalks filled with families dressed in red, white and blue! And of course, we know everyone enjoys seeing Jake from State Farm.

🛎 Favorite Product/Service: I am now securities licensed and really enjoy helping with life insurance and retirement planning. As a farm girl owning a business, I am definitely an expert on farm insurance and business insurance. I want to help others sleep better at night by having a plan and the right insurance to meet their risks. My experienced team of Amy, Dawn and Lily do a great job of educating and explaining all things insurance – auto, renters, home, farm, business, health and life.

I am very blessed to be celebrating my 7th year in business on November 1st. The local community and customers have been so amazing and supportive. I am very appreciative of having such a wonderful team that I love to work with every day and the smiling friends that come into our office.
