Today we joined Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani in the Bronx for his announcement about the first municipal grocery store slated to open. We are looking forward to working with the local community and the City to ensure that New Yorkers have access to affordable groceries and good union jobs!

Special shoutout to Ademola Oyefeso, International Vice President and Director of the Legislative and Political Action Department of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, who spoke and represented us at the event!

We're proud to stand with our 3,500 union siblings who are out on strike at the LIRR! The people who keep Long Island and New York City moving deserve a fair contract. We'll be with them until they get the wages and benefits they deserve, and trains start rolling again.
