These four sweet faces have made their journey from Puerto Rico to New Hampshire, and while they’re one step closer to finding their forever families, we have an urgent need behind the scenes.

Sato Heart Rescue desperately needs VOLUNTEERS and FOSTER FAMILIES!

We are a small, 100% volunteer-run rescue. Every dog we save depends on people willing to give a little of their time, open their homes, or lend a helping hand.

❤️ WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
Can you spare just two hours? Help care for our newest arrivals during quarantine, give them some love, and keep our rescue running. Morning, afternoon, and evening opportunities are available. No experience? We’ll help you learn!

🏡 WE NEED FOSTERS!
Opening your home to a rescue dog, even temporarily, changes everything. Fostering allows us to continue saving dogs who otherwise may never get their second chance. We cover the costs, you provide the love!

🐶 AND THESE FOUR NEED FOREVER HOMES!
Our newest arrivals are settling in and will soon be ready to find families of their very own. Could one of these sweet faces be your new best friend?

The reality is simple: Without volunteers and fosters, we cannot continue saving dogs.

Chloe and Heather wanted to pop in and brighten your Sunday with their adorable little faces! 🥰

These two sweet senior girls have made their journey from Puerto Rico to New Hampshire and are one step closer to finding the loving forever homes they deserve. Just look at these faces! ❤️

And the cuteness doesn’t stop there…

Our FOUR newest pups have also officially arrived! They’re currently settling in and completing their quarantine period, but they’ll soon be ready for foster homes (or even better, forever homes!)

We are so grateful to our rescue partners at Second Chance Animal Rescue of Puerto Rico and the wonderful Flight Angels who helped Chloe & Heather make their journey from Puerto Rico to New Hampshire!

Mission Accomplished!
We are thrilled to share that our two sweet seniors have officially left the island and are one step closer to finding their forever homes where endless pampering will surely await them.

After spending their golden years navigating life on the streets they were gently escorted off the island by our fiercely loyal Flight Angels, Jillian and Nicky all the way to Boston where our dedicated Sato Heart volunteers welcomed them into their adoption program.

🐾✈️ FOUR MORE HEARTS ARE HEADED TO NEW HAMPSHIRE! ❤️

Our Sato Heart family is growing again! This week, four very special pups will be making their journey from Puerto Rico to New Hampshire, and we cannot wait to welcome them!

Thanks to our incredible partners at Second Chance Animal Rescue of Puerto Rico, these four are getting their chance at a brand-new chapter. And we’d love to introduce you!

🐾 HOUDINI – This handsome, energetic boy earned his name after slipping his collar when rescuers tried to help him. Once frightened and alone, Houdini has blossomed into a happy, playful pup who is ready for his next great adventure!

🐾 RAVEN – Abandoned in a box with her siblings on a rainy night in 2024, Raven has spent far too long waiting for her turn. Now a friendly, social girl who loves other dogs, she’s finally getting her ticket off the island!

🐾 TUCKER – This sweet boy has been waiting since 2024! With a tail that seemingly never stops wagging, Tucker is full of life, love, and enthusiasm. We think it’s about time he gets to experience the joys of having a family of his very own.

🐾 ZUMA – This happy little Lab mix was found abandoned in a plastic tub with her six siblings. Despite her difficult beginning, she’s grown into an outgoing, playful girl who is ready to leave her past behind!

❤️ Four different stories. Four deserving dogs. One shared dream: A FAMILY TO CALL THEIR OWN.

As we prepare for their arrival, we’re also looking for loving foster families and volunteers to help these pups settle into their new surroundings. Our rescue is 100% volunteer-run, and every helping hand makes a difference!

🐾 TWO TINY GIRLS. TWO BIG STORIES. ONE VERY SPECIAL FREEDOM FLIGHT! ❤️✈️

Please help us welcome our newest arrivals, Chloe and Heather, who are making their way from Puerto Rico to New Hampshire TODAY!

These sweet Chihuahua girls may be little, but they’ve already overcome so much. Now, thanks to our wonderful partners at Second Chance Animal Rescue of Puerto Rico they’re ready to begin their next chapter.

💕 Meet Chloe

Chloe’s world changed when her beloved owner passed away, leaving this tiny girl in need of a new family. During her intake at Second Chance, she was diagnosed with heartworm disease. After receiving treatment and making a full recovery, Chloe is finally ready to find a home of her own again.

Sweet, gentle, and deserving of all the love and attention in the world, Chloe is hoping someone will open their heart to her.

💕 Meet Heather

Heather and her daughter were found abandoned on the streets of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Both were severely underweight, neglected, and huddled together for comfort. Thankfully, they were rescued and given the care they desperately needed.

Both girls tested positive for heartworm and received treatment. Heather’s daughter eventually found her forever family, while Heather stayed behind to finish her recovery.

Now it’s HER turn! Despite everything she’s been through, Heather is a happy, friendly, easygoing little lady who simply wants a family to call her own.

❤️ Their pasts may be different, but their wish is the same: safe, loving homes where they can spend the rest of their lives being cherished.

We’re so excited to welcome these special girls to the Sato Heart family!

🎃👻 STOP EVERYTHING. ELLE HAS A HALLOWEEN COSTUME. 👻🎃

And honestly… how CUTE is this girl?! 🧡🐾

For those of you who have been following Elle’s journey, you know this sweet girl has come a long way. ❤️

When Elle first started her journey toward finding a forever home, the world was a pretty big place. But little by little, she’s been finding her confidence, discovering her silly side, learning new things, and building trust with the people who love her.

She’s learning that she can have her own person. That new things don’t have to be so scary. And that there’s room for a little fun along the way. 🥹

And now look at her! Our girl is showing off her Halloween spirit, and we couldn’t be happier to see her personality shining through.

But there’s one thing Elle is still waiting for… her very own forever family. 🏡💕
