Troop 1071 meets every Monday from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at the Milford Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 300 Broad St, Milford, PA.

We are a joint Troop, accepting both boys and girls ages 10-17 or 5th-12th grade.

🥖 SCOUTING FOR FOOD IS HERE! 🥫

Milford neighbors, it is time for our annual Scouting for Food drive! Milford Pack 1071 is teaming up to help stock the shelves at the Ecumenical Food Pantry of Milford, and we need your help to make a difference for families in our community.
Here is how you can participate:

📦 BAG DISTRIBUTION:
Starting Tuesday, November 3 at 6:30 PM, the Scouts of Pack 1071 will be walking through Milford neighborhoods to distribute brown paper bags to your doorsteps.
🛒 FILL YOUR BAG:
Please fill the bag with non-perishable food items (such as canned goods, pasta, peanut butter, and cereal).
🚛 BAG PICKUP:
Leave your filled bag out on your front porch on Thursday, November 19. Our Scouts will come by to pick up all the donations and deliver them directly to the pantry!

Troop 1071's annual Halloween party did not disappoint! We had costumes, patrol trick-or-treating, food and lots of laughs!

Thanks to all the scout families who contributed to the snack table!

Last night, Troop 1071 braved the dark trails for a night hike to the abandoned remains of Camp Ken-Etiwa-Pec!

We entered the woods armed with flashlights, bravery, and a strict adherence to horror movie survival rules:

- We did NOT split up.
- We did NOT investigate the mysterious rustling in the bushes.
- When the wind howled, nobody asked "Who's there?"

Shoutout to all the Scouts and leaders who faced the dark, survived the local legends, and made it back to tell the story!

It's never too early in the holiday season to remember our departed veterans!

On December 5, Milford Scouting America Troop 1071 will be helping United States Military Academy West Point Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Troop 1071 LOVES summer camp. How do we know? The large number of merit badges earned by our Scouts this summer! All of these were awarded Monday night at our fall Court of Honor.

Along with merit badges, the following Scouts achieved ranks:

Scout: Lilly R., Tristan P., Olivia B., Oliver T.
2nd Class: Andrew G.
Star: Colton D.
Life: Alma B.

Other awards handed out included Eagle Palms, Firem'n Chits, and National Outdoor Achievements.

In total, our Scouts earned 83 merit badges, 7 ranks, and 44 other awards!

A huge congratulations to all our Scouts for their hard work this summer... and to Thomas and Evan for getting through their first Court of Honor as Senior Patrol Leaders!

⚜️ International Brotherhood Camporee! 🇨🇦🇺🇸

Troop 1071 had a great weekend at Wellesley Island State Park! We joined over 900 Scouts from the U.S. and Canada for a weekend full of outdoor adventure and patch trading.

At our latest meeting, our scouts pushed their limits with a physical fitness challenge - a 1-mile run, sit-ups, and push-ups.

Everyone made progress working through their rank requirements. All that hard work is about to pay off... Court of Honor is just around the corner!

As the days grow shorter, we will continue to meet outside while the weather permits!

⚜️ Troop 1071 spent their latest Monday evening meeting practicing knot-tying requirements for rank advancement—and wrapped things up with knot races to test their skills!

Proud of the hard work, peer leadership, and fast fingers on display last night!

Our Scouts spent last night’s meeting honing their respect and precision for our nation’s symbol through flag ceremony training.

The troop worked on:
🇺🇸 Raising & Lowering the Flag with proper dignity and timing
🇺🇸 Command & Communication leading the color guard with confidence
🇺🇸 Marching & Formations maintaining crisp alignment
🇺🇸 Folding the Flag perfecting the traditional 13-fold procedure

Great job to all the Scouts for showing leadership, teamwork, and reverence!
