Jerry and Melanie’s next missionary journey is to Bulgaria with Tom and Judy Hebert to invest into church planters. We are going to serve Rado, a Bulgarian national and pastor.
The need for church planting is there. Evangelical Christians make up a small minority of the Bulgarian population, just 1.2% according to a 2021 census. The largest religion is defined by the Orthodox Church. The second largest religion is Islam. While small, Evangelical churches are experiencing growth among the Roma population. Romani people are sometimes known as Gypsy people, a minority in Bulgaria.
Help us build relationships with Christian leaders in Bulgaria who want to plant churches in their nation and beyond. The cost for both Jerry and Melanie to go to Bulgaria is $3,000.
