Thanks to the Butler County Sheriff's Office for their help in returning this majestic, young hatch-year bald eagle to nature. It had been hit by a truck.

Our Director of Rehabilitation, Shannon, led an army of rehab volunteers and coordinated the bird’s release yesterday with the Sheriff’s Department. The department accommodated us in every way possible. Win, win, win. And such a happy outcome.

Tiny falcon. Mighty spirit.

We're grateful to PetCare Animal Hospital for providing Janet with skilled, compassionate care. Their veterinary team treated a contracted tendon on this young American Kestrel's toe. A falconer brought her to our RAPTOR hospital because of her toe problem. Our wonderful partners at PetCare Animal Hospital evaluated the tendon on her toe and acted to repair the problem. She is as adorable as ever, don't you think?

We're deeply thankful for PetCare Animal Hospital expertise, kindness, and ongoing partnership in helping the raptors we rescue.🦉🦅

Come to the free RAPTOR, Inc. open house on Sunday, August 30, between 1 pm and 4 pm to visit with our Education Ambassadors. You won't see Janet - she’ll still be convalescing, but the other Ambassadors are worth the visit.
