šŸ’œšŸ¾ Happy Kindness Wednesday, Friends! šŸ¾šŸ’œ

Kindness Wednesday has always been one of our very favorite days of the week. Even though we choose to highlight kindness today, we truly believe that kindness isn’t something that should only happen once a week. It’s something we should try to carry with us every single day.

Kindness doesn’t always have to be something big or grand. Sometimes it’s checking on a friend, offering a smile to a stranger, leaving an encouraging comment, holding the door for someone, or simply listening when someone needs to be heard.

But today, we also want to remind everyone that kindness isn’t only about how we treat others.

Be kind to yourself, too.

Give yourself grace on the hard days.

Celebrate the little victories.

Forgive yourself for mistakes.

Rest when you need to rest.

Speak to yourself with the same compassion you would give to someone you love.

The world can be a busy and sometimes difficult place, and we never truly know what someone else may be carrying. A little kindness can brighten someone’s day, restore hope, and remind them that they are not alone.

And don’t forget—sometimes the person who needs your kindness the most is the one looking back at you in the mirror.

Luna says kindness makes the world feel a little safer.

Otter says kindness tastes even better when it’s shared with a pup cup. šŸ˜„

And Milo says kindness can be as simple as sitting beside someone and reminding them that they’re loved.

So today, let’s spread kindness wherever we go. Leave encouraging words. Lift someone up. Share joy. Be patient. Be understanding. And remember that even the smallest act of kindness can make a bigger difference than we may ever realize.

Thank you all for being such an amazing community and for showing kindness not only to us, but to one another. We are so thankful for each and every one of you.

Have a beautiful Wednesday, friends. ā¤ļø

Love,

🐾 If we are honest about wanting to end animal suffering and over population in the US, then Spay & Neuter MUST become the primary method.
Shelters are not failing because people don’t care - they are overwhelmed because prevention failed. Every intake, every overcrowded kennel, every euthanasia decision traces back to one truth: too many animals are being born into a system that cannot absorb them.
Adoption and rescue save lives one by one, but Spay & Neuter saves lives by the thousands.
Until we put prevention at the center of our culture, policy, and funding, we will keep asking shelters and rescues to manage an impossible outcome. This crisis doesn’t end in extra kennels or through adoption - it ends at the source!
