And that’s a wrap.

The storm has passed. The island is quiet. The lights have gone dark, the set is down, and The Tempest is officially in the books.

Thank you to EVERYONE who supported Milan Theatre Company’s very first production in any and every way—onstage, backstage, in the audience, behind the scenes, through sponsorships and donations, by spreading the word, lending a hand, cheering us on, and simply believing that there should be a place for theatre here.

We worked hard. We took chances. We made mistakes. We learned so much. We laughed—a lot. We made a little magic.

And we did it.

We raised the curtain on Milan Theatre Company.

There will never be another first show. And we are so grateful to every single person who was part of ours.

The storm may be over, but our story is just beginning.

Here's the thing....

When we started MTCo, we approached Dan at MHS Productions to see if his space could ever be available for such a small entity as ours.

And he said "Yes." And we were shocked! And it was good.

But then we made a plan. Started writing on the calendar and going in, preparing for The Tempest.

And that's where things started getting CRAZY. Because Daniel Douglas didn't just unlock the doors. He has been closely involved since Day 1. Offering so many resources. Training on others. Calling his students for help - and help they have!! He has been the epitome of genuine support and we absolutely, truly could not have the production we have without him.

All that to say: he makes MHS Productions look (really) good.

Our Tempest crew has grown since we last introduced them, so it seemed only right to gather everyone together for an updated cast photo.
