Golden Gap Foundation Welcome to Golden Gap Foundation! 💛 We’re dedicated to helping Utah’s underrepresented seniors access the long-term care and support they deserve.

Join us in bridging the gap and creating dignity, opportunity, and hope for our aging community. Lisa and I own and operate Oasis Senior Advisors in the Salt Lake City area. Through our work helping seniors find the care they need, we’ve seen firsthand that many cannot afford assisted living. That’s why we started Golden Gap Foundation—to help bridge that gap and ensure every senior has access to safe, dignified care.

What an incredible opportunity to share the Golden Gap Foundation story! 🖤💛

We had the privilege of presenting at People Pitch alongside some amazing nonprofits doing meaningful work in our community.

A huge thank-you to the People Pitch team for bringing us together and to the friends and supporters who showed up to cheer us on!

We're grateful for the opportunity to share our mission and connect with people who believe every senior deserves a safe place to call home.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to host the Golden Gap Throwdown! 🖤💛

A huge thank you to Valencia at Cottonwood Heights Valencia at Cottonwood Heights for opening their doors and helping us bring this event together!

Jenn Heaton Wilburn Summer M. Flemetakis, and the entire Valencia team were incredible. From helping us get everything ready to making sure things ran smoothly throughout the afternoon, they were right there whenever we needed a hand.

Lisa and I have really enjoyed getting to know Jen and Summer over the past year, and we're grateful for the friendship and support they've shown us and Golden Gap Foundation.

Thank you to everyone at Valencia for making us feel so welcome and helping us create such a fun afternoon for a great cause. We appreciate you all! ❤️

Today we had the opportunity to take the Golden Gap Foundation story to the People Pitch stage. 💛

We shared Edward's story, how a $300 monthly gap nearly stood between him and a safe place to live, and how our community helped make his move into assisted living possible.

But Edward isn't the only senior facing this challenge. There are others right here in Utah who need care but simply can't afford the gap while waiting for financial assistance.

We're grateful to People Pitch, Utah Advocacy Coalition , and our incredible coach, Deb Gabor, for helping us share our mission with a room full of people who care about making a difference.

Now we're looking ahead to the next senior we can help.

Take a few minutes to watch our pitch. We'd love to hear your thoughts, and if you know someone who might want to help us close the next gap, we'd love an introduction.

What an incredible day at the Golden Gap Throwdown! 💜
We are so grateful to every single person who helped make this event special. Whether you donated a gift basket, made chili, participated in or supported Family Feud, bought raffle tickets, or simply came out to cheer everyone on — every bit of support mattered and was deeply appreciated.
This event was about having fun, bringing people together, and supporting an amazing cause.
We were honored to help support the Golden Gap Foundation and the work they do helping low-income seniors access senior living when they may not otherwise be able to afford it.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, gave, participated, donated, cooked, cheered, and supported. None of it was forgotten, and all of it helped make the day what it was. ❤️

A sweet THANK YOU to Paris Baguette! 🥐🖤💛

They helped make the Golden Gap Throwdown a little sweeter by generously donating an incredible assortment of pastries for our guests, along with gift cards for our prizes.

The pastries were a huge hit, and we’re so grateful to Junhyuk, Su, and the entire Paris Baguette team for stepping up to support Golden Gap Foundation and the seniors we serve.

We love seeing local businesses come alongside our mission and help us make a difference in our community.

Thank you, Paris Baguette, for being part of our Throwdown! 🖤💛

Well… the first Golden Gap Throwdown is officially in the books! 🖤💛

And what a day.

Family Feud got competitive, the chili was 🔥, prizes went home with some very happy winners, and there were a whole lot of laughs along the way.

But the best part was seeing so many people show up to support Golden Gap Foundation and the seniors we serve.

There are SO many people we need to thank, and we’ll be doing that over the next few days. For tonight, we just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who came, competed, cooked, volunteered, donated, promoted, and helped make today possible.

Here are just a few moments from our very first Golden Gap Throwdown. 📸

More tomorrow. 🖤💛
