What can Midland accomplish in just one recycling event? More than you might think.
During Texas Recycles Day in 2024, our community diverted thousands of pounds of electronics, documents, appliances and tires from improper disposal.

This year, we are ready to do it again.

Mark your calendar for November 14th and help us make an even greater impact for Midland.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success. It was incredible to see our community come together for a fun-filled weekend of learning and exploration.

🌺🐦 Plant Now for Spring Hummingbirds! 🐦🌺

Did you know that fall is one of the best times to plant perennials and flowering plants that attract hummingbirds? Cooler temperatures give plants time to establish strong root systems through the winter, setting the stage for vibrant blooms when spring arrives.

Consider adding hummingbird favorites like: 🌸 Salvia 🌸 Penstemon 🌸 Autumn Sage 🌸 Bee Balm 🌸 Trumpet Vine

By planting this fall, you'll create a colorful, pollinator-friendly landscape that welcomes hummingbirds back to Midland next spring!

What are you planting this season to attract hummingbirds and other pollinators? Share your plans in the comments! 👇
