🌼🐝 Let's Fill Midland with Flowers for Our Pollinators! 🦋🌻

Right now is a great time to plant flowers in your yard, garden, pots, or hanging baskets. By choosing blooms that are rich in pollen and nectar, you're helping provide food for the bees, butterflies, and other pollinators that keep our ecosystems healthy. 💚

As migration season approaches, many birds, bees, and butterflies, including Monarchs, will be passing through our area and relying on these important food sources. Birds depend on seeds and healthy insect populations, and pollinators depend on blooming flowers to survive.

🌸 Plant flowers. 🐝 Feed pollinators. 🦋 Support Monarchs. 🐦 Help migrating birds.

Together, we can color Midland with beautiful blooms and create a welcoming habitat filled with flowers, butterflies, bees, and birds this fall!

From September 5 through October 29, billions of migrating birds will travel across Texas skies, with most flying at night. Bright outdoor lights can disorient them, but a simple change can make a big difference.
