A few comfort items for a fire victim. In addition to the basic emergency necessities, it’s nice when we have a few little extra things, especially brand new.
The wind swept through 3 RVs Friday morning, destroying them all. Two of the victims went to stay with family out of town, but one had nowhere to go. She came here barefoot, because she ran out of the RV with nothing but the clothes on her back, and thankfully, her sweet companion dogs.

Thanks to your donations, she is safe, warm, comfortable, clean, fed, and her dogs are happy. Thank you to the Crisis Intervention Unit for the hotel nights. Thank you Permian Paws In Need for the dog food!
She is so grateful and wants to say thank you to everyone! ❤️

P.S., Since we did the makeup drive in August for Safe Place, we have received a few more items recently, and that went to her also!

We need Bibles.

Every Tuesday at 1:00 pm we open the Scriptures with neighbors at Breaking Bread Kitchen, 410 E. Florida Ave. Come join us! Everyone is welcome at the table. We want each person there to have a Bible of their own, one they can mark up, carry, and keep reading at home.

Buy your neighbor a Bible from our Amazon wish list. It ships straight to us, so each one fits the study and lasts: https://a.co/088a3Z2c

Scan the code on the card for the wish list and to join our prayer team.
