"Can I come inside too? I’ll be the bestest pet, I promise…”

9 Lives needs your SHARES and DONATIONS to assist with an urgent spay/neuter of 11 adults and 14(!) little kittens. We are committed to helping this colony IF we can raise the necessary funds.

These kittens deserve a chance. If we catch them soon, they will have an opportunity to be socialized in a loving foster home and could potentially be adopted! There’s no need for them to struggle with an outdoor life through freezing Wisconsin winters. Instead, they could become pampered indoors like the fluffy princes and princesses that they are.

We want to give a massive shoutout and thank you to the team at the Mounds Pet Food Warehouse West-Junction Road location! 🐾✨
We had an absolutely wonderful time at their Neighborhood Pet Store Day on Sunday, September 26. Not only did we get to meet so many incredible pet lovers in our community, but the amazing folks at Mounds also stepped up with a generous donation to support our rescue efforts!
As a local rescue, community partnerships mean everything to us. Donations like this are exactly what allow us to keep helping sweet cats get everything they need while they wait for their forever homes.🐱

She chirps, she catches, she cuddles... Patches 2 is officially the girl for you! 🐾✨
Meet Patches 2, a beautiful 4-year-old petite calico with a huge personality! She might be small in size and a little shy at first, but with just a bit of patience, she blossoms into the most loyal, affectionate companion you could ask for.
Patches 2 is a total social butterfly when it comes to other cats. She absolutely loves wrestling with her foster brother and palling around with feline friends, so she must go to a home with another friendly, playful cat to keep her company!
She is fully vetted (spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and FeLV negative) and ready to find her special someone.

Three years in foster care, and now they are finally ready for their forever home together. 🐱🐱❤️
Meet Archie and Reagan! These two came from completely different worlds—Reagan was found in a barn, and Archie was surrendered from an overpopulation situation. They crossed paths in their foster home and became absolute best friends. After three years of growing brave together, they’ve officially been on the adoption website for just a few weeks!
Here is what makes this dynamic duo so special:
• Archie: A long-haired, vocal gentleman who walks around with his fluffy tail up like a periscope. He loves head scritches (on his own terms, of course!) and exploring.
• Reagan: An incredibly sweet girl who shows her love with the best headbutts. She is independent, doesn't like to be held, but loves a good play session and head scritches from her favorite people.They compliment each other perfectly—Reagan is the brave friend who helps Archie step out of his comfort zone.
Both are fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. (Bonus fact: Reagan has unique little "cutaneous horns" on her feet that get clipped just like regular claws!).

Proof that older cats still know how to party! 🎉 Meet Apollo, an 8-year-old kitty who is as spry as ever!

Apollo is the perfect companion—he’ll follow you around the house, watch the birds from the window, and demand all the head pets.

He came to us earlier this year after his owner fell ill, and now he’s ready for his next chapter.

He might seem a little shy at first, but it won’t be long before you become best friends. ❤️

Are you looking to add a new feline friend to your family? Come out to meet some of our adoptable cats and kittens this weekend!

We will be at EarthWise Pet Madison West this Saturday, September 26th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Featured Kittens:

🌟 Stellina – A sweet, purry little girl who is affectionate, friendly, and great with strangers! She’s gentle, low-key, gets along well with other cats and dogs, and would make a wonderful companion for a kitten or an adult cat.

🌟 Hank – A sweet, high-energy boy who is quickly coming out of his shell and showing off his snuggly side! He loves to play and run around, gets along with other cats and dogs, and will thrive in a home that isn't too chaotic.

Both Stellina and Hank are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

We’ll have several other kittens attending too! (Please note: while Stellina, Hank, and our featured kittens plan to attend, event lineups are subject to change and we cannot guarantee a specific cat's presence on the day of the event.)
