Amana First Responders The Amana First Responders is a volunteer EMS organization, providing care in the Amana Colonies

We appreciate all forms of our community's support for the Amana First Responders. The EMS Essential Service levy on the ballot this November is for EMS services county-wide, not just for the paid ambulance staff and equipment.

It costs about $3000 to put a single person through the schooling to become an EMT and an ongoing annual cost to provide the training necessary for the volunteer 1st responders to maintain proficiency.
