Eastern Iowa Honor Flight

Eastern Iowa Honor Flight Eastern Iowa Honor Flight is a non-profit dedicated to sending local Veterans to Washington D.C. to visit various historical sites and war memorials.

These memorials include the WWII Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, USMC Memorial, USAF Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. The WWII Veterans are also taken on a city tour where they are able to see the Smithsonian, Capitol, White House and various other historical buildings. We proudly serve the

Veterans of Linn, Jones, Benton, So. Tama, Iowa, Johnson, Marshall, Jasper, Poweshiek and Washington Counties. Veterans from surrounding areas are welcomed if they are able to fly out of The Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids. Since Eastern Iowa Honor Flight began in 2009, we have transported more than 1,500 Iowa Veterans from Cedar Rapids to Washington, D.C.

Oh my goodness! Thank you Mortensen Construction! They are a construction company working on the data center. They raised $23,000 at a bags tournament on Veterans Day in 2025. Then went to corporate and they donated an additional $29,000! 🇺🇸

🎉 The First-Ever Eastern Iowa Honor Flight Online Apparel Store Is Now Open! 🎉
We’re excited to announce the launch of the very first Eastern Iowa Honor Flight online apparel store!
This is a wonderful opportunity for supporters, family members, guardians, volunteers, and veterans to proudly represent and promote the mission of Eastern Iowa Honor Flight.
Our current store features a variety of t-shirts designs, and every purchase helps support future Honor Flights, so we can continue providing veterans with the meaningful experience they deserve.
Important Information for September 15 and October 13 Flight Participants
🇺🇸Veterans and guardians participating in the September 15 or October 13 flights will still be required to wear the red or blue polo shirts provided by Eastern Iowa Honor Flight on flight day. 🇺🇸
We invite you to browse the collection, pick out your favorite items, and share the store link with friends and family who would like to show their support of our mission.
Ordering Details
The online store will remain open through Monday, August 17.
If you miss this ordering period, don't worry. Another online store featuring the same apparel will open on August 28th.
All orders will be shipped directly to your home.
You may also choose to pick up your purchase at the airport during the Welcome Home event on September 15th. Pickup will be available from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. With airport pick up, there will be no shipping charge.
If you select airport pickup but do not collect your items during the time listed above, you will need to coordinate a later pickup directly with the vendor.
