🙏 A fresh start begins with God.

Isaiah 43:19 reminds us that God specializes in making the impossible possible. Don't let your past limit what God can do in your future.

Billy Graham was one of the most influential Christian leaders of modern times. Born on November 7, 1918, in North Carolina, he devoted his life to sharing the message of Jesus Christ and helping people grow in their faith. Through his powerful preaching, genuine humility, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel, he touched the lives of millions around the world.

Billy Graham became widely recognized for his large evangelistic events, often called crusades, where thousands gathered to hear him speak about God's love and salvation. These meetings took place in stadiums, arenas, and public venues across numerous countries. As technology advanced, his messages reached even larger audiences through radio broadcasts, television programs, newspapers, and online platforms.

His sermons centered on biblical themes such as faith, repentance, forgiveness, eternal life, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. Graham believed that true peace and purpose could only be found through a personal relationship with God. His straightforward and easy-to-understand style allowed people from all walks of life to connect with his message.

Beyond preaching, Billy Graham authored numerous books and established the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, which continues to share the Gospel and provide ministry support worldwide. Throughout his lifetime, he also served as a trusted spiritual advisor to several U.S. presidents and earned respect from people of many different backgrounds and beliefs.

Even in his later years, Graham remained dedicated to his calling. He passed away on February 21, 2018, leaving behind a lasting legacy of faith, compassion, and evangelism. Today, his influence continues through his writings, sermons, ministry work, and the countless individuals whose lives were transformed by his message of hope in Jesus Christ.

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon created a gigantic golden statue, nearly ninety feet high, and commanded every official and citizen in the kingdom to bow down and worship it whenever the sound of musical instruments filled the air. Anyone who refused would immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace of fire.

Among those in Babylon were three faithful Jewish men—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—whose Hebrew names were Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Despite the king’s command, they refused to worship the image because they believed only the true God deserved their devotion.

Certain Chaldeans reported them to the king, and Nebuchadnezzar became furious. Still, he gave the three men another opportunity to bow before the statue. Their answer revealed unwavering faith and courage: they declared that their God was able to rescue them from the furnace, but even if He chose not to, they would never serve false gods or worship the golden image.

Filled with rage, Nebuchadnezzar ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than normal. The flames became so intense that the soldiers carrying the men to the furnace were killed by the heat before they could even escape.

But when the king looked into the furnace, he was shocked. Instead of seeing three men destroyed by the fire, he saw four men walking freely among the flames, completely unharmed. The mysterious fourth figure appeared divine—“like a son of the gods.”

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the furnace untouched. Their hair was not burned, their clothes were undamaged, and there was not even the smell of smoke upon them. Witnessing this miracle, Nebuchadnezzar praised the God of Israel, acknowledging His power to save. He promoted the three men and issued a decree that no one in the kingdom should speak against their God.

This verse reminds us that a life focused only on worldly desires will naturally drift away from God. When our thoughts are controlled by pride, selfish ambition, or human cravings, it becomes difficult to walk in obedience to Him.

Paul teaches that the battle often begins in the mind. What we continually think about, entertain, and pursue shapes the condition of our hearts and the direction of our lives.

Our human nature does not automatically seek God. It resists surrender and wants control. But through the Holy Spirit, God renews our minds and changes our desires so we begin to seek what honors Him.

This message is not about condemnation — it’s about awareness. God wants us to examine what is influencing our thoughts and to align our minds with His truth.

Stay rooted in God’s Word. Fill your mind with what is pure and life-giving. Because a mind surrendered to God leads to peace, wisdom, and true freedom in Him. ✝️
