Diagnosed with autism at the age of six, Clayden faced a traditional educational system that struggled to recognize the extraordinary ability behind his differences. He experienced bullying, misunderstanding and exclusion—but somewhere along that journey, a pencil became his voice.

Today, at only 17, Clayden Botes is a self-taught South African artist whose work has reached audiences far beyond his country, transforming what began as doodling into art, digital design, entrepreneurship and advocacy.
