WE’RE EXCITED! In case you didn’t know, the Southside Park plans builds on the excitement surrounding the Underline by reimagining Southside Park as an integral part of its design, and expanding the chain of new green spaces in Brickell. Designed by the SAME Landscape Architecture team as the Underline, Southside Park is replanned as the largest public realm space along its length offering complimentary community programming and improved connectivity. Pedestrian access is central to the design of the revitalized park with a new promenade directly connecting the Underline to SW 2nd Avenue through an architectural gateway offering the neighborhood improved access to green space, the Metrorail, and Metromover stations.

Thank you to everyone that helped make the 1 Southside Park project a reality! So many of you sent letters and called the commissioners to show your support. You signed in to our community meetings, and gave such valuable input for how to make the project the best it could be. You urged your friends who were excited about the project to join us, and you urged those against it, to hear our team out (that invite is still wide open if you want to learn more). This would not have happened without all of you. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

It is no secret that Brickell desperately needs more public parking. That is why the JDS Development Group has committed to 100 parking spaces for public use in addition to the ample parking they will have for the building. Go to our website to see more!
