There’s a myth that should’ve been left behind a long time ago…
that Black people can’t swim.

We’re breaking that. Period. 💅🏾

Swimming is more than a skill…
it’s life-saving, stress-releasing, body-healing care!
And for Black women especially, carrying higher levels of stress in this world… that matters.

Because that stress is connected to real outcomes.
Including the infant mortality rate in our community.

Let that sink in.

This is bigger than getting in the water.
This is about our health. Our futures. Our babies. 🫶🏾

But the tide is turning 🌊
More Black adults are learning to swim than ever before.

So if that’s you… who stepped into the water as an adult …
We celebrate you. We honor you. 🙌🏾 WE’RE PROUD OF YOU!
