Pink squad, activated! 💗 This October, staff at both LSF Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services campuses, Miami Central and Homestead, wore pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

At LSF Miami Bridge, we care for youth and families across Miami-Dade County every day, and we wore pink to show our support for breast cancer survivors, those currently in treatment, and the families who stand beside them. The color pink is a symbol of breast cancer awareness and a reminder that early detection saves lives.

💜 This October, LSF Miami Bridge wore purple.

Last week, staff at both of our campuses, in Miami and Homestead, came together in purple to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Every day, our team works to create safe spaces where youth and families can heal, grow and thrive. Standing together in purple is our reminder that no one should ever feel unsafe at home.

Thank you to our legal community, local dignitaries and judiciary for their attendance at last night’s LSF Miami Bridge Legal Happy Hour. The Globe in Coral Gables was the perfect venue to reconnect with local legal professionals and share how we can best work together to uplift and restore hope in the youth we serve. We would also like to give a special thank you to the Lutheran Services Florida team and its board members in attendance for their support. We hope to see you at our next event!

This summer, our youth felt the support of an incredible community, and that support continues as they head back to school.

We want to give a special thank you to Ms. Carol Pacheco, one of our consistent and local donors, who generously provided brand new shoes and clothes to help our youth start the school year with confidence.

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, and honor the lives lost and the first responders whose courage still inspires us 25 years later. Today reminds us that even in our hardest moments, we are stronger together.

For 50 years, the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services has been a lifeline for Florida’s most vulnerable children and families. This year, we’re proud to join the Network in celebrating half a century of advocacy and impact.

As a Florida Network member organization, LSF Miami Bridge is proud to be part of a statewide system dedicated to strengthening families, supporting young people and building stronger communities across Florida.

As summer winds down, we're taking a moment to relive this outdoor field day hosted by Oasis Youth Shelter — just one of so many fun activities and excursions we got to share with the youth in our care this season. A time was had! 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♂️
