Benjamin Strong Childhood Brain Cancer Foundation

Benjamin Strong Childhood Brain Cancer Foundation BenjaminSTRONG is 501(c)(3)public charity founded after our son Ben passed away of DIPG. Join our fight! Every Child Deserves A Cure. BenjaminSTRONG

Our mission is to serve families battling pediatric cancer, raise awareness about DIPG, and collaborate on innovative research trials focused on DIPG/DMG. The BenjaminSTRONG Foundation was founded in the memory of Benjamin Amador who courageously battled Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma for 21 months. While facing this horrid disease, Ben inspired everyone he met through his infectious smile, stre

ngth and never-ending faith. Our mission is to fund research on DIPG/DMG, and assist families battling Pediatric Cancer. Today DIPG/DMG has less than a 1% chance of survival, with little to no effective treatment. Around 300 children across the United States are diagnosed with DIPG each year. Children with DIPG/DMG experience, headaches, double vision, facial weakness, speech slurs. When progression occurs children loose the ability to walk, swallow, speak, trouble breathing, while leaving the child aware of what is happening. The median survival time with DIPG/DMG is 9 months and sadly not much has changed in the last 40 years for DIPG/DMG. BenjaminSTRONG is committed in doing everything in our power to make a difference by bringing awareness, and funding’s for a cure to this terrible disease. Thank you for your support and prayers.

Today is International Childhood Cancer Awareness Day.🎗️
For most, it is a day of awareness.
For our family, it is also the day our lives changed forever.
Seven years ago today, we heard the words no parent is ever prepared to hear:
“Your child has cancer.”
In an instant, everything shifted.
The fear. The uncertainty. The fight we never asked for.
But through it all, Benjamin showed us what true strength, courage, and love look like.

International Childhood Cancer Awareness Day is a reminder that:
🎗️Childhood cancer is underfunded
🎗️Families need emotional and financial support
🎗️More research is urgently needed for pediatric brain tumors.

Today we honor his journey, his legacy, and every child bravely fighting childhood cancer around the world. For ways you can help please visit our website www.BenjaminStrong.org
