✨️🥂 Cheers to ONE YEAR ✨️🥂
September marks one year since we officially launched FemCity Richmond, and I’ve been reflecting on just how much this first year has meant.
We’ve had the opportunity to meet and build relationships with some truly amazing women entrepreneurs, creatives, leaders, and professionals throughout the Richmond area. From our events and conversations to the friendships and connections that have come from them, I’m so grateful for everyone who has been a part of our first year.
As we head into year two, I’m excited about what’s ahead and hopeful that we’ll continue to connect with even more women who want to share, grow, collaborate, and support one another.
Over the coming year, we’ll start building our FemCity Richmond Board Members as these will be the women who will help bring this chapter to life! And if you’ve ever considered becoming more involved or serving on our board, we’d love to connect with you! We’re always open to meeting women who want to be a part of what we’re building.
There’s a quote I love:
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
That really captures what we hope FemCity Richmond continues to be. A community where we don’t have to do it all alone. We can learn from one another, open doors for one another, celebrate each other’s wins, and keep moving forward together.
Here’s to one year of FemCity Richmond and to everything still to come. I truly believe there is so much more ahead for this community. 💜
