In 2018, an MEF grant helped start the high school’s robotics team as a pilot program. The robotics program has grown and the team has been competitively successful. Eight years later, we’re thrilled to help level up Metuchen Momentum with these new robot upgrades. We can’t wait to see what you design and build!

For our fourth grant of the school year, we are excited to fund the grant, “Metuchen Momentum Robot Upgrades”, which will provide the MHS Robotics Team with 20 new motors, 8 new swerve modules, and 2 new power distribution hubs. These parts will allow the team to design even more amazing robots and help them stay competitive with their peer teams.

Thank you to the MHS Robotics Team for applying for this grant and their Club Advisor, Ms. Cook, for supporting them and the idea! We can’t wait to see your new robots in action!

Hear why our 2nd graders are so excited for their Better than Broadway Theatre Week! We can’t wait to see the whole grade shine on stage in February with the support of the incomparable, Miss Michele, from Better Than Broadway Productions. 🎭

For our third grant of the school year, we are proud to sponsor the 2nd Grade Better Than Broadway Theatre Week. This opportunity allows every 2nd grader to collaborate and perform in a week-long theatre experience that will culminate in a wonderful production for the entire Moss School community in February!

A big thanks to Mrs. Gallo for writing this grant and Mrs. Asprocolas for supporting it! Did you know that the MEF has been sponsoring Theatre Week for over a decade? We’re excited to bring this tradition to Moss this year! 🎭

For our second grant of the school year, we are excited to fund the grant, “Classroom Flexible Seating”, which will provide comfortable, durable, flexible seating options and innovative whiteboard tables to increase collaboration, communication, and confidence in Mrs. Palmer’s 6th Grade ELA and 7th Grade Reading Writing Workshop classroom at Edgar.

Thank you to Mrs. Palmer for coming up this idea and Mrs. Azevedo for supporting it! We can’t wait to see how your transformed classroom helps build confidence and community in your classroom! ✨📚📝

For our first grant of the school year, we are excited to fund the grant, “Feel it. Form it. Write it. A Multisensory Approach to Cursive”, which will bring an engaging, hands-on way of learning cursive handwriting to all 3rd grade students at Campbell. Thank you to Mrs. Santasieri for dreaming up this idea and Dr. C for supporting it! We can’t wait to see how this program helps make cursive writing more accessible and engaging for our 3rd graders! ✍️

This morning, our Vice President, Todd, had a chance to attend Manasquan Bank’s Charitable Trust breakfast to share our gratitude for receiving a generous grant this quarter. This generosity will allow us to continue providing innovative grants to Metuchen educators. Thank you for caring so deeply about the community you serve! You are a true community bank. 💙
