Metamora Lioness Lions Club We invite you to join us; help us empower volunteers to serve their community, meet humanitarian needs and encourage peace.

Our meetings are held the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at the Metamora Lions Hall at 7:00 PM. If you are interested in donating or purchasing tickets for an event, funds can be submitted through paypal

The Metamora Lions are mourning the loss of longtime Lion, Bill Kirby. Lion Bill Kirby was a true pillar of the community — the kind of person who quietly made life better for everyone around him. His long service with the Lions Club, his status as a Melvin Jones Fellowship recipient, his military service as a veteran, being named Grand Marshall of the Metamora Parade, and his induction into the Flint Bowling Hall of Fame all speak to a long life well-lived in service and community spirit. Losing someone who embodied the Lions motto “We Serve” is especially heavy. His legacy of caring and involvement will continue to inspire others in Metamora and beyond. May the many good memories of Lion Bill bring comfort to our community and his family during this difficult time.
