At the last guild meeting we were all honored to present our veterans with their own quilt through the Quilts of Valor organization. Special thanks to Sandy for facilitating the presentation. Also, we recognize Jacqueline Watt and Deanna Daugherty from Wattafind for assembling the quilts so quickly. They secretly enlisted the efforts of Sheila Haywood to have an extra special quilt for our departing guild member and veteran Nadine Witter.

Mesquite Quilt Guild would like to add their thanks to our veterans for serving our country and defending our freedom. We are blessed to have you amongst us and call you friends Nadine Witter, Linda Lo, Marileah Mansfield, Sheila Haywood.

REMINDER: Good Morning Mesquite guild. Just reminding everyone that we have a tag and bag meeting at Watt A Find on April 8th. We really need everyone to dig into their stash and donate some fabric. Even if you can not attend Friday can you please drop your donation at Wattafind. Estimate is about another 75 yards of fabric needed.
