Meet stunning and super sweet Zeus . This 5 year old boy lived with his family and brother Rolo his whole life.
They were surrendered due to breed restrictions.

Zeus is a big but calm boy, so gentle and so affectionate. Just like how his owners described him.
They did keep the dogs as outside dogs🥺 but they seemed to have been socialized around people.

—How is the animal around children?—YES, CHILDREN AGING 7 YRS TO 18 YRS. OWNER STATES THEY ARE VERY GOOD WITH THE KIDS. VERY PLAYFUL AND LOVE TO SIT ON YOUR LAP. OWNER STATES THEY FORGET THEY ARE BIG DOGS SOMETIMES. THEY HAVE NEVER SHOWN ANY SIGNS OF AGGRESSION TOWARDS THE KIDS

OWNER STATES THAT BOTH DOGS GET A LONG VERY WELL. THEY SLEEP TOGETHER, EAT TOGETHER AND PLAY TOGETHER. OWNER STATES THEY USED TO LIVE WITH A FRENCHIE AS WELL. THEY WERE VERY PLAYFUL WITH THE FRENCHIE AND HAVE NEVER SHOWN ANY AGGRESSION WITH ANY ANIMALS

OWNER STATES THAT BOTH DOGS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOGETHER SINCE PUPPIES. ROLO IS THE CUDDLER. THEY SLEEP TOGETHER AND DREAM CRY WHIMPER TOGETHER. OWNER STATES THAT BOTH DOGS ARE VERY WELL BEHAVED DOGS.

Meet Trixie a 1yr old 55lbs girl that is not a fan of the scary shelter environment.
This is the girl for you that are looking for a loyal, friendly and affectionate companion ❤️‍🩹 she has great notes with children and other dogs🩷 (children should always be respectful, kid friendly does not equal no boundaries).

She has wonderful surrender notes, she was surrendered after 1.5yrs due to housing restrictions.
Owner states: DOG IS GREAT WITH KIDS, FRIENDLY WITH STRANGERS. LOVES ATTENTION AND LIKES TO PLAY

Knows commands?— SIT, SHAKE, UP, OUTSIDE, KENNEL, “TRIXIE”, NO

—Dogs?— YES, DOG LIKES TO GO TO DOG PARK AND PLAY WITH OTHER DOGS. —Other Animals (birds, small mammals, reptiles, etc.)?— DOG IS CURIOUS OF SOURCE’S LIZARD 🦎 , WILL SNIFF

HAS BEEN AROUND CHILDREN AGES 5-14 YEARS OLD. —Please describe behavior around children?— DOG IS FRIENDLY AND PLAYFUL WITH CHILDREN. Circus here 🩵, he wanted to introduce himself after the reel I did about he and his doodle neighbor Ghost. Ghost got adopted the minute he became adoptable, while Circus is still at the shelter.

So of course I took him out for a walk Friday, and what a joyful boy, with the kindest eyes. Black dogs take longer to get adopted, but they do not deserve that. 🥺

Circus is a black 1yr old , 49lbs boy adoptable.

🆘 Deadline 10/26 🆘

Guava a 4yr old, 49lbs girl in urgent need of an outlet from the shelter. No music needed, the way this girl chomps her treats is so adorable🥹
Very sweet girl. But would prefer an only dog home!
Reason for deadline: Altercation with small dog in the home.

How is the animal around children?
YES, AROUND OWNER’S 8 YR OLD LITTLE BROTHER. OWNER STATES THAT THIS DOG HAS BEEN REALLY NICE WITH THE YOUNG CHILD. SHE ALLOWED ALL PETTING AND HANDLING AND EVEN EATS OUT OF THE CHILD’S HAND.
Dogs?
OWNER STATES THAT HE DID INTRODUCE THIS DOG TO HIS MOTHER’S FRENCHIE AND SHE ATTACKED THIS DOG, BITING THE DOG AROUND THE NECK WITH ‘LOCK JAW’, RESULTING IN BLOOD FROM THE INJURED DOG. THE INJURED DOG WENT TO THE VET, BUT WAS DETERMINED NOT TO BE SEVERLY INJURED.
