Thank you, Samantha Williams, for sharing your poem, “In Your Honor,” written in 2014.

Your words carry a deep respect for those who served, those who came home forever changed, and those who never made it home. This poem is a powerful reminder that service does not end when the uniform comes off, and that sacrifice is carried by veterans, families, and communities long after the battlefield.

At SPVEA, this is why we do what we do: to honor that sacrifice by helping veterans and their families find support, healing, and hope.

Our ABC15 Arizona Salutes Arizona Veterans story shared online today!

I am incredibly grateful to ABC15 Arizona and Sanderson Ford for taking the time to highlight my service and the mission behind SauerPower Veterans Empowerment Alliance.

SPVEA was created to help veterans and their families access the mental health support they need, when they need it. This mission is personal, and every opportunity to share it helps us reach one more veteran, one more family, and one more person who may need to know they are not alone.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support, encourage, and believe in this work. We are just getting started.

What a great night at the Mesa Chamber of Commerce Taste of Mesa Annual Burger Challenge! 🍔

A huge thank you to Superstition Manor Wedding and Event Center for hosting this incredible community event again. It was a great evening filled with amazing food, great people, and some seriously impressive burgers.

Congratulations to this year’s winners, D**k & Dine Pickle Park! 🏆🍔

A big shoutout as well to all of the amazing entries from Bristol's Mesa, Dog Haus Biergarten SanTan Village, and even a creative cheesesteak pizza entry from Good Life Pizza Co.. Every bite showed off the talent, creativity, and community spirit that makes Mesa so special.

Events like this are a reminder of how strong our local business community is when everyone comes together to support, celebrate, and enjoy what Mesa has to offer.

David is out and about today, and his first stop was a big milestone for SPVEA!

We are excited to keep getting SPVEA’s name, mission, and vision out into the community as we continue working to support veterans and their families.

Be on the lookout for David’s face on ABC15 Arizona in the coming weeks as he shares more about SPVEA and the work being done to help remove barriers to mental health care for our veterans.

Big things are happening, and this is just the beginning.
