CVBCA services include:

- The MammaGift project, a program to provide free mammograms for uninsured women.

- Care packages for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients

- Prayer, support, and caring friends: CVBCA provides support, education, and information on breast cancer and preventive health care to women and men.

- Educational presentations: If you know a group, organization or anyone inter

ested in scheduling an educational presentation, please feel free to contact us

- Limited financial help for those undergoing treatment for breast cancer

- Events and activities: The CVBCA hosts three fundraisers and a Pink Ribbon Dinner for Breast Cancer Survivors each year. We are also fortunate to be the recipients of fundraising activities and events sponsored by individuals, groups, and businesses in our community.

-Support of the PA Breast Cancer Coalition: A Breast Cancer Coalition promises research for a cure. This also includes the promotion of legislation that improves diagnoses of breast cancer and medical care for breast cancer patients. CVBCA services are FREE and all funds are used in this community (Franklin County) and surrounding areas.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the community businesses that dedicate themselves to our mission. We recently celebrated over 180 breast cancer survivors and warriors at Majestic at Whiskey Run's beautiful premises. Majestic at Whiskey Run's generosity in hosting our event is greatly appreciated. June arrives with longer days, warmer sunshine, and the feeling that summer is finally here. School years wrap up, vacations begin, and parks, beaches, and backyards come alive with activity. Our support group this month is another special one.

NO DAY SUPPORT GROUP THIS MONTH DUE TO SPECIAL SPEAKER
Join us instead at our evening meeting on : June 18th starting PROMPTLY at 6:30pm

Our speaker this month will be our new breast surgeon, Dr Mio Yanagisawa, affectionately known as Dr Yana. She will share about her education and background but best of all she will answer YOUR questions. Please feel free to submit them here or shoot them over to Amy.

You are beautiful and loved. Join us as we navigate through the changes that occur during your cancer journey.

***You must RSVP to attend this event. We ask that attendees be newly diagnosed, currently undergoing treatment, or within six months of completing chemotherapy. One care pack per person. However, You may attend multiple times for the tutorial.

We appreciate the dedication of our volunteers and have been fortunate to collaborate with some exceptional individuals. Recently, a group of volunteers assisted in creating care packs for our newly diagnosed patients, for which we are truly grateful. Thank you for your ongoing support. If you're interested in contributing to CVBCA, please consider exploring our volunteer opportunities or organizing a 'Create Care Pack Party' to support our patients.
