There really isn't any kind of tired quite like "Fair Tired."
Right now, we imagine many of us feel just like this sweet little girl... exhausted, happy, and running on nothing but memories.
And truthfully? We wouldn't trade it for anything.
The Adams County Fair doesn't just happen. It's built by an incredible team of volunteers, Fair Board directors, and office staff who give countless hours because they believe this tradition is worth preserving.
I'll admit, I got emotional more than once this week watching the crowds fill the grounds. Seeing families laughing together, friends catching up, kids making memories, and generations continuing a tradition that has meant so much to our community—it reminds us exactly why we do this.
Is it a lot of work? Absolutely.
It takes long days, late nights, and time away from our own families. It can be exhausting and challenging.
But the Adams County Fair has always been about something bigger than the work.
It's the friends you only get to see once a year.
It's grandparents introducing grandchildren to the same fair they grew up loving.
It's the smell of fair food, the sounds of the midway, cheering in the grandstands, and the memories that last long after the lights go out.
Thank you to everyone who came, volunteered, exhibited, sponsored, and supported the Adams County Fair this year. You are the reason this tradition continues, and we can't wait to do it all again.
See you in 2027!

We had an AWESOME demolition derby tonight to wrap up a BIG week at the Adams County Fair!
There was some huge action on the track tonight! Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy the final night with us!
