💙 Never Lose Your Why. 💙
A message from the Adams County Classic Committee
In September of 2019, our committee lost a sister, cousin, and friend — Julie Schullian. Just a few short months later, COVID changed everything. Shows were canceled, fairs didn’t happen, and livestock had nowhere to be exhibited.
Out of that uncertainty, the Adams County Classic was born.
What started as a search for normalcy became something more — a show created by a committee and sponsors who believed in celebrating youth in livestock and providing an opportunity when so many had been taken away. This is our why.
And today, we want to share this message with every exhibitor and family:
Never lose your why.
We see you — first‑time exhibitors who stepped into the ring just to give it a try.
We see you — younger siblings watching from the rail, dreaming of their turn in showmanship.
We see you — experienced exhibitors who know the stance, the walk, the pose, and the countless hours of work that led you here.
We see you — families making memories together, sitting around the trailer, under the pop‑up tent, or ringside, sharing moments that last far beyond show day.
We see your smiles after small victories and big wins.
We see your determination, your competitive drive, and your pride.
And we see you — even when things didn’t place exactly how you hoped, because the effort mattered, the work ethic mattered, and the experience mattered.
It was all worth it.
Thank you for choosing to exhibit. Thank you for being here. Thank you for carrying on the tradition of raising and showing the animals we love.
We see you. We thank you. We appreciate you.
You are our why —
Six species. Three days. Celebrating youth in livestock.
