I said it last month. And I'm going to say it again: It just keeps getting better!

Our third event of 2026 was our biggest event EVER. We served well over well 830 people and most importantly, over 20 people gave their lives to Christ.

PRAISE GOD! AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!!

After the blow our community took with the tornado that struck Neenah, Menasha, and parts of Appleton, we came together and decided we needed to do something for the people who were impacted. And boy, did people every show up! Our initial idea to simply serve food, show love, and entertain with some great music quickly morphed into an opportunity to provide free haircuts, a giant bouncy-house for the kids, and a bevy of free school supplies for kids of all ages on top of the free food and entertainment.

The beauty and generosity that blossomed from such a traumatic event is nothing short of amazing. No one other than the Lord himself could orchestrate such a movement of people throughout such a large are and community. God didn't cause the destruction to happen. But, He sure used it for good.

Thank you to all the volunteers from our men's group and from Elevation Church Green Bay , Eric/Jesse of Untapped Potential for the wonderful music, Annie from Mercy Tree Salon and all the stylists that contributed to the free haircuts, Big Guy's Handyman Service for collecting/distributing school supplies, Fran from Magical Party Rental for the kids bounce-house, Morgan and Kevin for their beautiful photography, Piggly Wiggly in Menasha for letting us completely take over their parking lot for half the day, and all of those who contributed financially to make this event possible. We could not have done this without you!

Our next event will be in Menasha again on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at Jefferson Park.

See you all then!

Men of the Fox Valley, we're calling on you, your families, and your neighbors this Saturday, August 1st to be the hands and feet of Jesus serving those impacted by the tornado.

We will be meeting at 214 Washington Street in Menasha at 7:00am to organize, pray, and then head out into the impacted areas throughout our community to provide yard clean-up support.

If you feel called to join us, please come prepared to work with appropriate clothing, lots of water, and yard tools like chain saws, rakes, and wheel barrows.

Please send us a message or email us at [email protected] if you have questions.

Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you on Saturday morning.

Our second event of 2026 was our biggest event EVER. We served well over 630 people, cooked over 900 pieces of meat, and most importantly, over 17 people gave their lives to Christ. PRAISE GOD!

These events are not only about serving our community and showing them love as commanded by our Lord (Matthew 22:39). They’re about making disciples.

Through our obedience to the two greatest commandments (to love God and our neighbors), we stoke the flames of an eternal fire and introduce people to a loving God who just wants to have a relationship with them. As it says in Matthew 5:14-16:

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

God is moving in our community and is using Risen as a vehicle to save souls and introduce people to the love of the Father.

Thank you to all the volunteers, Eric/Jesse of Untapped Potential for the wonderful music, Mandy of Built for Her Photography for taking photos, and all of those who contributed financially to make this event possible. We cannot do it without you.

We will be announcing information for our next event on August 22nd shortly which will be in Green Bay, WI.

God Bless all of you!
