The best summer in Memphis basketball history is coming to a close. From a record number 15 high school games played to a record turnout at open gyms/skill work by our junior high and high school players to our youth players putting work in, it was a great summer for our program.

Recently we had our first ever Yellowjackets team play in the Yale Bologna Festival 3 on 3 tournament. Roman, Beau, Andy, and Zachary aka the “Rim Reapers” represented the program in a wonderful way, taking home a second place finish on the day. A big shout out to Kyrra Sulkowski for her work in organizing the team! Next year our goal is to have 2-3 teams. Also, Vince got in 10 games in a summer league in Port Huron vs all AAU travel players and really improved and played well while representing Yellowjackets basketball. Next year we hope to have several more players involved!

This commitment and dedication to working on our game in the offseason is exactly what is propelling our program forward and to will help take us to the top of the Big Thumb Conference Blue Division.

Hi everyone! As we continue to improve our program we are proud to be bringing back our page!

Check back regularly for all things related to our Memphis youth and jh/hs boys basketball programs.

Starting off, I’m proud to include in our first post our upcoming 2026-27 HS boys basketball schedule! We will be kicking off our season in 4 1/2 months as we head down Highway 19 to face the Richmond Blue Devils. This will be the first meeting between the Jackets and Blue Devils in almost 13 years! What an awesome way to kick off what will surely be an exciting season of Yellowjackets basketball.
