We are a non-profit organization open to business professionals in Medway and the surrounding area. We hold regular networking and professional development meetings, as well as other initiatives, from September through May each year. We also maintain a town-wide business directory, www.medwaybusinessdirectory.org and run a local initiative under www.shopmedway.com

The Medway Business

Council (MBC) endeavors to:

1. Offer direct involvement on the local and state level in matters that benefit and affect the business owners and residents in the town of Medway

2. Assist local businesses in the opportunity of promoting and nurturing their businesses through networking and the MBC website, exchanging ideas, and building relationships within our growing community

3. Encourage members to exchange ideas and practices to assist in perfecting and improving each business

Membership dues are just $95 and include a discounted member rate for meetings, free advertising and a listing in our online directory. To become a member, complete our Membership Application and submit your dues.

It was a great evening of networking, community, and valuable insight from guest speaker Adriana Vaccaro of Culture Redesigned on workforce development and training grants.

We appreciate everyone who attended and participated in the 2026–2027 Board vote.

The Medway Planning and Economic Development Board will hold a public hearing for a major new mixed-use development project proposed for 107-119 Main Street, 1 & 3 Elm Street, 0 & 26 Kelley Street.

🏗️ Project Highlights (21.1 Acres):
Residential: A 4-story apartment building featuring 267 units with indoor and outdoor amenities.

Commercial: Three standalone properties, including a bank, a restaurant with a drive-through, and a redeveloped fueling station & general store.

Traffic/Access: Consolidating and reducing the current 11 curb cuts down to 5 along Main Street (Route 109) to improve site access.

Note: No development is proposed for the parcels backing up to Kelley Street.

Support the future of Medway! 🎓

The Medway Business Council is proud to offer scholarships to graduating high school seniors who live in Medway. These awards help support students pursuing their education and future careers—especially those with an interest in business, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Two scholarships are awarded each year, including the Peter J. Kenney Memorial Award and the MBC Memorial Award, recognizing both achievement and potential.

As we look ahead to the coming year, we’re inviting members to express interest in serving on the MBC Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of our organization and support the local business community.

Business owners and representatives from all industries are welcome—no prior Board experience needed! We’re looking for passionate members who want to contribute ideas and get involved.
