FAM exists because of moms willing to share a little of their time and talents, and we appreciate every person who contributes to keeping this community thriving. In order to continue to grow our community, we need additional members to serve on the Leadership Board for 2026-2027. If you have any room on your plate, reach out and we’ll help you find a role that feels exciting and manageable.

Congratulations to Franklin’s own Ms. Caleigh! Our community is SO lucky to have you ❤️ If you don’t know this shining light of a human, stop by the Franklin library for the wonderful programs

Congratulations! The MSCW is deeply honored to announce the full list of the Class of 2026 Commonwealth Heroines and their nominating legislators.

Each year, elected officials are encouraged to submit one woman from their constituency as a means of recognizing their invaluable efforts and extraordinary acts of service, who are making a big difference in their communities but not necessarily making the news. This year, the Class of 2026 Commonwealth Heroines is comprised of a historic 147 women from across the state, the largest class awarded to date by the MCSW. These women are leaders in industry, business, nonprofit, advocacy, and more, and their work truly makes a difference in our local communities all across the state.

Join us in extending our warmest congratulations to the Class of 2026!

If anyone is able to make this class, I highly recommend it! I did it a few months ago and it really made me feel more confident in my ability to help if someone needed it. They also answered questions we had about choking and walked us through doing the Heimlich maneuver on adults as well as what to do on kids.

The Franklin Health Department and Franklin Fire Department is having another FREE hands only CPR class for community members on March 25th from 3 pm - 4:30 PM at the Franklin Fire station.
