π The Annual Medway Christmas Parade is Tonight! π
The Medway Christmas Parade is tonight, and weβre excited to welcome the community for a festive evening together.
The parade will go sleighs up at 5:30 PM at Medway High School, travel through town, and finish at Choate Park for the annual tree lighting and fireworks. Please plan ahead for parking and road closures along the route.
Key Locations from the Parade Map:
β’ Medway High School: Parade procession staging, parking, and official start point
β’ Cassidy Field: Spectator parking and designated family reunification point
β’ Choate Park: Tree lighting, fireworks, and handicapped parking
Important Parking and Route Notes:
β’ Cassidy Field parking will operate as one-way. Vehicles must enter from Winthrop Street and exit on Main Street by the Ide House. Cars will not be able to exit Cassidy until after the parade has passed.
β’ The walking trails between Medway High School and Choate Park will be closed all day due to fireworks setup, which is required for safety compliance.
Safety Reminders:
β’ Dress children in bright or reflective clothing.
β’ Keep all spectators, especially children, on the sidewalks or in yards and off the roadway during the parade
