📣Our Venturing Crew is excited to invite eligible Scouts to join us for a Spring Break adventure to Shenandoah from April 9–12 (Thursday–Sunday)!📣

Trip Overview:
Location: Shenandoah River Outfitters
(camping on-site for 3 nights)
Cost: $90
(includes food, camping, and canoeing)
Thursday: Depart St. Peter's & arrive at camp
Friday: ~12-mile canoe trip down the Shenandoah River
(Class I rapids—more steering than heavy paddling, with great views of the valley and mountains)
Saturday: Visit to a zoo near Luray, VA, plus optional short hikes in the nearby Washington & Jefferson National Forests
Sunday: Return to Medford
(Memorial School in the morning in the am)

The outfitter’s campground is expected to include modern bathrooms and hot showers, which should make the experience more comfortable for everyone.

Who Can Attend:
This trip is open to any Scout who is eligible to join a Venturing Crew, even if they are not currently registered in the crew.

Eligibility requirements:
Age 14–20, OR age 13 AND completed 8th grade
A/B/C medical form completed
(can be the form used at Yawgoog last year)
BSA Swimmer (can be the swim qualification completed either at or before Yawgoog last year).
There is no additional cost or requirement to be officially registered in the crew to attend this trip - we would love to have you join us!

Troop 26 Eagle Scouts Ava and Allie were honored by the Marlton Elks Lodge at the Garden State Council Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner for their incredible service projects supporting children with special needs.

Chosen from all who made Eagle in council for 2025, they each received a $125 award in recognition of their impact. ⚜️👏🏼 Way to go, Ava and Allie!
