SATURDAY DROP DAY: Open at 8 AM

🍦 NEW MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: CLAY’S CONES! 🍦

Summer just got a whole lot sweeter! We’re excited to welcome Clay’s Cones as a new McPherson Main Street member! 🎉

This family-owned seasonal food trailer was inspired by a love for the local ice cream shop their owners enjoyed while living in Iowa. When they returned to Kansas, they decided to bring that same feeling home by creating a hand-dipped ice cream trailer for their community and the surrounding towns.

And when we say handmade, they mean it!

Clay’s Cones serves hand-dipped ice cream in homemade, from-scratch waffle cones. They spend hours every week making fresh cones—and every single one is rolled by hand! We hear they’re pretty amazing.

Looking for a fun way to try several flavors? Ask for a Flight! Six delicious flavors served with waffle cone pieces make it the perfect way to sample the menu, share with friends…or keep all six for yourself. (No judgment here! 😉)

They also offer gluten-free waffle cones and dairy-free ice cream.

📍 Where can you find them?
• Sundays: Hesston College, 6–9 PM through September
• Thursdays: Kauffman Museum in North Newton, 5–9 PM
• Other locations are announced weekly on their social media!

And yes—they travel! Clay’s Cones has already served up sweet treats at weddings, employee appreciations, birthday parties, farmers markets, block parties and more.

Fun fact: The trailer is named after their young son, Clay, who apparently feels like quite the celebrity! Their newest addition, daughter Maya, may even inspire a future menu item… Maya’s Milkshakes, perhaps?!

And the owner's favorite? Chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a waffle cone. Honestly, we can’t argue with that choice!

Clay’s Cones is a seasonal food trailer, open through September, then taking a winter break before returning in mid-April.
