As we reflect on , we honor Auberle’s visionary founder, Pauline Auberle—whose generosity continues to shape lives across Pennsylvania.

In 1900, Pauline made a legacy-defining decision: she left 14 acres of land and financial resources to create a safe home for unhoused German boys in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Though she never saw it realized, her vision became a reality when Auberle opened its doors in 1952.

Today, that single act of empathy has grown into a movement. Auberle now serves thousands of individuals and families each year —of every age and gender—through workforce development, housing, young adult services, foster care, and behavioral health.

With cutting-edge human service programs, hundreds of partnerships, and a dedicated staff of over 200, Auberle builds stability, creates opportunity, and drives generational change.

Auberle's 412 Youth Zone recently hosted its annual Etiquette Dinner, where young people had the opportunity to practice dining etiquette in a welcoming, supportive environment.

The evening began with a social hour followed by a shared meal where participants learned practical skills — from table manners to professional communication — that can help them feel confident in school, work, and community settings.

Thank you to the incredible volunteers who dressed the part and served as hosts for the evening, helping create a restaurant-style experience for our youth. Your care made the night memorable!

Auberle recently celebrated the completion of the Essential Skills for Manufacturing training in partnership with Catalyst Connection!

Each participant earned an NC3 Certification in Mechatronics and developed practical skills in electrical assembly, including hands-on experience with the SkillMill19 Learning Lab.
