The Practice Mercy Foundation is a holistic, relational and grassroots faith-based nonprofit that serves vulnerable women and children seeking safety along the Rio Grande River on the Mexico side of the border. Practice Mercy Foundation invites People of Faith to restore the dignity and value of women and children in dire circumstances along the Mexico-Texas borderlands by providing spiritual and
tangible support, which brings much needed hope to their lives. Many of them are indigenous and pregnant women with their children from Southern Mexico, Central America, Cuba and Haiti. We show compassion in action through presence and provision. Practice Mercy Foundation is equipped to help these beautiful people as we are a bicultural, bilingual and seasoned faith-based humanitarian organization. We cultivate and promote compassion through Border Immersion Experiential Trips, that help us empathize and better understand the complex topics of international Borders and Immigration. Also, through one-day workshops and webinars, we raise awareness of the human suffering that we face on a daily basis and what are we doing to help alleviate it through tangible hope and love.
