🍂𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿!

Respite weekends give campers a chance to reconnect with friends, enjoy new adventures, and experience all the fun of camp. Just as importantly, they give parents and caregivers a weekend to rest, recharge, and take care of themselves.

Campers can look forward to horseback riding, animal visits, nature hikes, campfires, pumpkin carving, and more.

🎶 Nashville is calling! 🤠

Join The Fowler Center Travellers for a 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝗵𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲, 𝗧𝗡 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬–𝟭𝟲! We’re hitting the road for a week packed with live music, great food, the Nashville Zoo, Madame Tussauds, iconic sights, and plenty of Southern fun along the way.

The Fowler Center is looking for a 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿 to join our year-round leadership team.

This role helps lead the programs, people and experiences that make Fowler such a special place, from Summer Camp and Weekend Respites to Travel Adventures, group events and more.

A couple of weeks ago, MCHS Family of Services President and CEO Kevin Roach stopped by the FOX 2 Detroit studio to talk about Disability Pride Month and the incredible work happening at The Fowler Center.

For nearly 70 years, Fowler has created meaningful connections, new experiences, and life-changing opportunities for individuals of all ages and all abilities. We’re proud to help build a world where everyone belongs and has the opportunity to thrive.

Today is 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆, and we’re celebrating 16 incredible international staff members who traveled from around the world to spend their summer at Fowler! 🌎💙

They’ve brought their energy, kindness, culture, and plenty of camp spirit to every corner of camp.

Thanks for trading your summer for campfires, cabin laughs, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. We wouldn’t trade you for anyone!

We’ve had some real green thumbs at camp this summer, and the Fowler Garden is looking better than ever! There’s nothing quite like getting your hands in the soil, planting, watering, and watching something beautiful come to life.

That’s a little like what happens every day at Fowler. With the right care, encouragement, and room to grow, our campers come to life, too.
