This year The Tuscola Technology Center FFA Chapter is hosting a Biggest Beet Contest. Their are entry forms and a drop box at the Caro Piling Grounds or you can drop them off at the Tuscola Technology Center. On Friday we traveled to Munsell's Poultry Processing to have our broilers judged and processed for the broiler contest. The teams have 25 birds and pick 5 to have judged on their uniformity, breast size, leg size, and weight. They also have to fill out a chicken report and answers questions from a judge. We all had a great time and are hoping for some winning chickens!

What did we do today? Today we had a sheep out on pasture who has been limping on her hind leg, so we brought her up to the barn to check things out. We believe she has hoof rot. We will bring her back to health and than put her back on pasture. Does anyone know why she has blue on her back?
